Alice Sowinski-Rice Joins Discern as a Project Manager

Discern Health welcomes Alice Sowinski-Rice as a project manager. She will work on client projects and assist in the development of quality strategies. Alice has an extensive background in health care quality, measurement, and payment.

Prior to joining Discern, Alice worked as the director of standards and research at a health consulting firm, where she oversaw all research initiatives, evidence-based publications, and technical standards development activities for clients. Alice has experience working in accreditation procedures and has served as primary author on several white papers and issue briefs related to various topics including radiology, wound care, colorectal cancer prevention, use of health information technology for care management, and analysis of statistical surveys and data.

Alice earned her MPH from Johns Hopkins University and graduated from Lehigh University with a BA in biology and psychology.
