Sara Khan

Sara Khan is a Project Analyst working on quality improvement and qualitative analysis at Discern Health. Most recently, she was an intern for the Maryland Hospital Association where she conducted research and wrote position papers on various health care bills during the 2019 legislative session of the Maryland General Assembly. Specifically, she developed collateral for bills regarding social determinants of health and medical liability as well as supported stakeholder alignment for the implementation of The Maryland Model.

Her past experiences include research on substance abuse and intimate partner violence at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and an internship with Congressman Elijah E. Cummings. Sara received her BA in Health Administration and Policy with a minor in Psychology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
