Discern Health Hires New Staff Members

June 2019

We are pleased to add the following project analysts to our growing staff.

Osvaldo Arambulo completed his master’s degree in health policy at the Johns Hopkins University (JHU) Bloomberg School of Public Health. During his time at JHU, Osvaldo worked as a research assistant at the world-renowned JHU Center for Gun Policy and Research. Osvaldo graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a bachelor’s degree in public health.

Sara Khan recently received her bachelor’s degree in health administration and policy with a minor in psychology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. While earning her degree, Sara interned for the Maryland Hospital Association, where she conducted research and wrote position papers on various health care bills during the 2019 legislative session of the Maryland General Assembly. She also researched substance abuse and intimate partner violence at the JHU Bloomberg School of Public Health and completed an internship with U.S. Representative Elijah E. Cummings.
