Discern Health and the Journal of Clinical Pathways (JCP) have launched a new oncology-focused commentary series, Quality Outlook. The series, authored by JCP editorial board member and Discern Partner Tom Valuck and other Discern subject matter experts, explores key issues related to oncology quality and value, such as measurement, value-based payment, and quality improvement of care.

The first installment of the series, “Oncology Quality Measurement: Angst and Ambition,” examines the need for value-based solutions and adequate value assessment measurements to ensure that high-quality outcomes are obtained from cancer care costs.
